These limited edition 5oz .999 fine silver coins celebrate the ABU DHABI GRAND PRIX™ and feature the official F1® logo, the name of the event in English and in Arabic, a beautifully-crafted Formula 1® 2016 car, and an evocation of the circuit itself. On the obverse side of the coin is Ian Rank-Broadley’s portrait of Queen Elizabeth II.

Only 500 of these 2016 legal tender coins will ever be minted.

Each silver coin is presented in a specially commissioned box with a certificate that shows the Certificate Number, statement of metal fineness, weight, proof quality statement, and the signature of the PAMP assayer.

The FORMULA 1® ABU DHABI GRAND PRIX™ is a relative newcomer to the FIA Formula One World Championship season, with the first race being held in 2009. The Abu Dhabi race is the only day-night, twilight race in the Formula One calendar.
