In collaboration with the International Tennis Federation, Rosland Capital now offers new 2022 silver coins celebrating the Billie Jean King Cup Finals, held in Glasgow, Scotland, in November 2022.
The coin bears the portrait of Billie Jean King, named one of the “100 Most Important Americans of the 20th Century” by Life magazine and a 2009 recipient of the Presidential Medal of Freedom.
In her legendary tennis career, King captured 39 Grand Slam singles, doubles and mixed doubles titles, including a record 20 Wimbledon Championships.
The Billie Jean King Cup is the world's largest annual international competition in women’s sports, and is often called the world cup of women’s tennis. The Cup was formerly known as the Federation Cup, then the Fed Cup, and had its origins in 1963, the 50th anniversary of the International Tennis Federation. The Cup was renamed in 2020, making it the first global team event named after a woman.
The US team has won 18 times, followed by Czech Republic, with 11 wins, and Australia with 7.
These coins are 999.0 fine silver, legal tender, 2.5 oz in weight, and minted as proofs. All the coins in this collection are minted by Swiss- based PAMP SA, one of the world’s finest producers of precious metal coins.
The protective package bears the Billie Jean King Cup logo and Ms. King’s signature, and acts as a numbered certificate of authenticity. It also includes a statement of metal fineness, weight, and proof quality, as well as the signature of the accredited assayer at PAMP.

Additionally, cancelled orders are subject to a 4% restocking fee.
